Friendsgiving with Foster 360

10 Soroptimists will gather with youth and staff from Foster 360 to celebrate Friendsgiving with a potluck meal and some fun games. Participating Soroptimists must take a short Trauma Informed Care training via Zoom approximately one week prior to the event, and should be vaccinated and maintain social distance. They will also bring food for the feast, primarily easy to cook dishes prepared in a crockpot or instapot. We will give a crockpot or instapot to each of the youth and share our recipes. A Soroptimist will demonstrate how to use an insta pot. Activities will take place outdoors to reduce risk of Covid exposure. Participation is limited to 10 to avoid overwhelming the Foster 360 youth. Reserve your slot on a first come, first reserved basis. If you can't attend but would like to support this event you may donate a crockpot or instapot or small prizes for the games. A member of the Hands On Committee will coordinate signup of registrants for meals and supplies and other donations so that we have a reasonably well-rounded assortment of food and drink for the event.
